About This Event:
The official UN International Day of Play is June 11th, but we are playing with the date and moving our celebration to the nearest weekend!

Join Positivity Matters at Constellation Studios—Lincoln’s renowned printmaking and creative arts hub—for a Saturday dedicated to joy, connection, and community. Recently established by the United Nations (thanks to the advocacy of Right to Play and its partners!), this global day recognizes the power of play to build a better world. We know firsthand that when we make space for play, a real, resilient hope naturally grows alongside it.

Whether you want to boost your creativity, connect with neighbors, or just take a breather and have some fun, this event is all about experiencing the joy of play together.
What to Expect
🎶 Live Music: Nebraskan singer-songwriter Orion Walsh will be performing a few of his signature folk and Americana songs. Listen to his music here!
🗣️ Inspiring Insights: Nick Hernandez will be sharing thoughts on a plausible path from the mammalian play drive to a more festive, joyful world.
⏳ More to Come: Additional sessions and a detailed schedule (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM) are TBA!

RSVP & Updates: Check back soon as we announce our full lineup of sessions! Be sure to subscribe to the Positivity Matters newsletter to get the latest schedule updates delivered right to your inbox. We can’t wait to play and celebrate with you!
